NovaTel Carrier Services Over the past ten years NovaTel has emerged as a leading wholesale carrier-to-carrier provider in the carrier services industry. A licensed FCC 214 Inter-exchange Carrier (IXC), NovaTel provides cost-effective, service-enriched wholesale transmission of phone calls worldwide. Its clients include: Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III Inter-Exchange Carriers (IXCs), Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), Prepaid Providers, Foreign Postal Telephone and Telegraph (PTT) companies, and Offshore Call Centers. NovaTel's network is 100% redundant, using sophisticated VoIP and TDM routing technologies. Its quality; ASRs (Average Talk Times), short PDD (Post Dial Delay), and static-free sound; surpasses industry standards. Finally, NovaTel can interconnect with virtually any carrier using whatever protocol works best for the carriers: TDM (Time Division Multiplexed) with ISDN or SS7/C7 signaling, or state-of-the-art VoIP protocols: H.323 or SIP. NovaTel's Direct Routes NovaTel offers quality wholesale termination over its own direct routes which include: El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Pakistan and the Philippines. These routes were created by establishing direct Points-of-Presence (PoPs) with foreign PTTs (Postal, Telegraph & Telephone Companies). NovaTel has been extremely successful in maintaining the quality and the reliability of these routes. We are constantly negotiating with other foreign PTT’s to establish new direct routes or to obtain exclusive usage rights to capacity. This is an ongoing project, but one that NovaTel continues to actively pursue. NovaTel International A-to-Z Because NovaTel was so successful in providing quality termination to our Direct Routes, our customers asked if we would expand our services to include termination to the rest of the world. To ensure successful termination routes, NovaTel waited until it had contracts with two carriers for worldwide termination before it released its rest-of-the-world (A-to-Z) product. In less than a year from concept, NovaTel has grown from only two A-to-Z carriers to over twelve. Some of these carriers are truly worldwide carriers, while some carriers only have licenses in selected countries or regions. With the addition of these boutique carriers, NovaTel has become a "market-maker" for certain destinations.
